Newborn Feeding

Recently a mother called me to ask if the formula she was feeding her child was a good one, as he was having colic. I told her it was not. No formula replaces breastmilk. It’s kind of like putting water in your radiator in an emergency, but you wouldn’t expect your car to run as well if you did that all the time. Cow’s milk formula is made to make calves as smart as their mothers, goat’s milk is meant to make kids (baby goats) as smart as their mothers, and human mother’s milk is meant to make your child as smart as you! And I know you are smart because you’re reading this blog 🙂

In fact, studies have shown that intelligence of breastfed children is higher than that of formula-fed children.
